| Fixture findings | Relatively clean translucent hair edges; the 2048px input became a 1673px output in this test. | Preserves full 2048×2048 resolution and main subject silhouette; semi-transparent halo remains in curly hair gaps. |
| Original historical observation | VanceAI BGremover segments frizzy curly hair transitions cleanly (mad_band=0.0950, bg_leak=0.222%) with zero visible color fringing across green, black, and white backdrops; its only limitation is normalizing 2048px input to 1673×1673. | Against green and black backdrops, the 2048×2048 cutout preserves the full portrait and outer curl silhouette without cropping, though semi-transparent background residue remains along fine curly flyaways. |
| Suitable uses · historical assessment | Users who want high-precision no-login hair cutouts (1673×1673 unwatermarked) and seamless chaining with 4x upscaling or sharpening in one workspace | Users who need a genuinely free, no-login, full-resolution (2048×2048) unwatermarked transparent PNG cutout with optional solid-color or image background replacement |
